Today's Plan: 2nd kill on heroic Yor, and clear to Ultraxion. Assuming its not too late we'll probably put in a few attempts on Ultraxion just to get more DPS numbers from people -- especially those we didn't get to see last week!
Most of those jobs just make playing games suck. Well, pretty much anything you have to do for 8 hrs a day whether you want to or not stops feeling like fun.
I would Izuul, but the pixelated graphics annoy me which is why I havent played it in awhile. Pretty much ever since i went to a widescreen monitor I just couldnt stand it.
Removing all gear from the valor vendor will really suck for gearing up in 10-mans -- hopefully the bonus roll mechanic will have a high enough chance to actually offset that.
Oh, by the way, I went horde side when I had to pick a race for my panda, only because I've never done the new version of the lowbie quest lines -- and they don't have the level 85+ content open yet.
MoP Beta is very much a beta -- lots of placeholders for cut scenes, glitchy models, etc. Quite different then D3 when I got into it -- it always seemed mostly bug free.
No invite yet, but I hope/think it should be soon. My account has been active since 4/7/05 and I got the annual pass less then an hour after it started.
Well, I should get the invite about as early as anyone, given my account has been active since the first day, and I signed up for the Annual pass pretty early on.
I'm glad there isn't anything *that* rare in D3 though it will be easier to work your way towards those high-end items with a gold currency and an AH. In D2 nobody wanted to trade high-end runes for mid-level stuff no matter how much was offered.
Yep, the high-end runewords were nearly impossible to make if you tried to find the runes yourself (legitimately). I usually got them by finding really good rares and trading them to ppl with deep pockets.
I think the RMAH will work out quite nicely - even if everyone refuses to use the gold AH, you can easily sell off some of your gold to fund your Blizzard wallet and use that to buy whatever you want.
There doesn't seem to be any similar thing in D3 -- super rare and with no available substitute. Unlike rare items, where there's a whole range from 100% perfect item to almost uselessly mediocre so you can buy what you can afford.
Yeah, but there were several runes at the far end of the scale that a human could play their whole life and never expect to see drop, many used in various high-end runewords that were added late in the game.
Even botting, i never found a Zod rune. I found at least one Cham, and multiple Jahs and Bers, but never Zod. Ofc Zod had few practical uses so the price as never that crazy despite the rarity (even after they stopped the duping).
I don't think there's going to be anything like a Zod rune (harder to get then it is to win a major lottery), but there will be awesome rares with just the right set of affixes.
The problem with the Rune/Gem economy was that it was too scattered. At least when I was playing, it was hard as hell to find someone selling what you want and would accept whatever currency you happened to have.
I think you meant SoJ (Stone of Jordan), but yeah that was hilarious. That ring was rare as hell, but it had been duped so much that it became the standard currency to buy everything with.
Although I suppose if you're into Hardcore, they won't have the RMAH, so there may be a barter economy. Although things like repairs and crafters using gold might keep the value of gold up a bit.
We'll probably be on the same rotation tonight as we were last week -- work on Heroic Yorsahj for a while, but clear 4-5 bosses by the end of the night.
Thought I had posted already, but turns out I didn't. Going to be out of town from Thursday to Monday. Unsure if I'll make the Monday night raid. Sorry for the late notice.
Sorry i was not on swtor last night i just was not feeling good. I think it is the first time in a long time i did not do anything on my computer last night.
It took them all of 15 minutes for mine ot get removed Pithers, cause i had one on my phone and the screen got shattered. The is currently no way to transfer it from one to another
I was just informed I have to take my son to bowling tonight. It starts 90 minutes before raid time, so it's unlikely I'll be around until about 2 hours past start time
From what I saw, the trap spawns ahead of the time someone gets pulled in. I saw one spawn and was able to dps it for about 5 seconds, then ended up getting pulled into it.
We forgot to take a picture the first week, so here's one from our second kill. There was some delay due to the holidays, but everything came together nicely afterwards, so congratulations everyone!
No pictures, because it really doesn't look any different. However, it certainly feels different. We'll get to play some with heroic Ragnaros this week. Should be a blast. Congratulations to everyone.
