I was just informed I have to take my son to bowling tonight. It starts 90 minutes before raid time, so it's unlikely I'll be around until about 2 hours past start time
From what I saw, the trap spawns ahead of the time someone gets pulled in. I saw one spawn and was able to dps it for about 5 seconds, then ended up getting pulled into it.
Thats a good point about the mind trap. He must have threat dumped just before it, then making me viable for it. Pretty sure I saw him turn to somebody else, me taunt, then he trapped me instead. Who know
Hah! That Mind Trap threat dump actually added some challenge into tanking him. Since you can't threat him I assume he just sticks to you the whole time now
Feel free to provide any feedback on the content you want. It's still pretty far down the page at the moment. At least until I can decide if its good or not.
I put an "Activity Wall" section on the home page. It's a relatively new feature of the hosting company, but they've been plugging it so I thought I'd see what it looks like at least.
hello i posted an app...i have a fire mage ilvl 391 ..seeing if you needed a fire mage for DS...not in a guild right now was looking to join one that i can raid with
Sounds like the most popular strat for H Morchok involves 4 healers. Two independent groups of 1 tank, 2 dps, 2 healers. Just something to think about considering we have exactly 4 healers right now if they all show on the same night.
It doesn't seem like it'll be a problem -- I can swap the talent that makes my interrupt free for it, but interrupts don't seem like a major issue at this tier.
How big of an inconvenience is it to pick up that 10% AP buff in the Blood tree? I have a feeling these latest hunter changes are really gonna push SV ahead of MM.
I can't believe i sat out a raid to watch that steaming pile of a football game last night. Having to stomach that game was almost as hard as being a Philly sports fan this year.
Got an in-game mail message saying the raid tonight had been canceled, but since we normally don't use the calendar i wasn't sure if that meant anything.
There is apparently a queue to access any pages -- which seems like really bad design if its cheaper to load a "Waiting Room" page then to load top level pages from the site.
That may have been a smart move on their part then -- set the limits really low initially, and then raise them once the flood of users slows down a little.
Since most of us went Sith on Zym, should we set up a republic guild on one of the new seervers? That would let us avoid queues for now and we wouldn't have to split Zym character slots between Sith republic.
I've seen several reports of lost mail when trying to mail stuff between characters on the same account, so you should do a test mail before sending stuff to an alt.
The thing is, apparently everyone mis-read that poll. When you have no side with a majority (>50%), and a huge segment of undecided people -- well, eventually those people will probably decide, and it might change the final result.
The Wiki class pages have as much info as I really wanted -- what role each spec corresponds to, and whether the dps specs are ranged or melee is the main thing.
So is there actually a good summary for classes anywhere that actually spell out class playstyle by advanced class / spec? I found this [link] for Inquisitor, but not for other classes.
It sucks knowing that I won't be able to play until the 20th. I will be playing on Republic side at that point, Jedi Knight into Sentinel as that's the class I plan on having as my main
Ralked to Koranth, and he had a guild made for empire side, and the server they got is.... grand Master Zim, soo looks like we have an Empire and Alliance guild made!
Early access emails won't start going out till the servers are up. If you think you might have first day, you can check the launcher to see if your play button works or check the code redemption section of your swtor account.
They aren't going to tell you until the day your access begins. They want to leave themselves wiggle room in case they need to adjust the number they let in per day.
Combat daggers was used in BC. I remember it, because I was specced it. However, combat swords/fists/maces was close enough that you could spec it if you didn't have a dagger. [link]
We forgot to take a picture the first week, so here's one from our second kill. There was some delay due to the holidays, but everything came together nicely afterwards, so congratulations everyone!
No pictures, because it really doesn't look any different. However, it certainly feels different. We'll get to play some with heroic Ragnaros this week. Should be a blast. Congratulations to everyone.
